Background: Drug-eluting stent (DES) implantation showed a lower angiographic restenosis and revascularization. But, the safety and clinical outcomes of DES in patients with multi-vessel disease is unknown. Objectives: We evaluated the angiographic and clinical parameters in patients with multi-vessel DES implantation. Methods: 93 DES were implanted in 39 patients between February 2003 and January 2004. Major adverse cardiac events were analyzed. Results: Mean follow-up duration was 8 months. 6 month follow-up angiogram was done in 56% (22 patients). See as a following table. Conclusions: DES implantation showed favorable acute and mid-term outcomes. Therefore this strategy is effective for the treatment of multi-vessel disease.
